8. Creating Workouts and Workout Programs

Workouts allow you to combine a list of specific Drills or Exercises into one single workout. Prior to building a new workout, Drills or Exercises must already be uploaded to their respective libraries before they can be added into a Workout. 

Once you have added the necessary Drills or Exercises into their libraries, the following sets of instructions will help you create Workouts and Workout Programs in your MaxOne account.

By adding your individual Workouts within a Workout Program, it gives you the ability to strategically combine your workouts over a period of time (Days/Weeks) and easily organize your workouts.

Creating a Workout

  1. Navigate to the Create/Edit tab on the left-hand side found under Workouts & Assignments
  2. Select the "+" symbol at the top right of your screen
  3. Give your workout a name for that day (ex. week 1, day 1) and click "next"
  4. Select each activity you want to include in your workout and click "next"
  5. Hold down your mouse on the selected exercise to drag and drop the exercises in the correct order you want them to be completed by your athletes. You have the option to start a new series by selecting add series at the top right.
  6. Click the down arrow next to “series 1” to choose a circuit. Below demonstrates the difference between a series and a circuit:

  1. Select the "+" symbol located on the activity to add another set to an exercise, and select the pencil icon to adjust the sets and reps
  2. Click finish once you have completed your workout

If you’d like to build a workout program, you must first create all of your daily workouts. Then navigate to the Build Program tab on the left-hand side

Building a Program

  1. Navigate to the Build Program tab on the left-hand side
  2. Select the "+" symbol at the top right of your screen
  3. Give your workout program a name and click next
  4. Select each workout you want to include in your workout program and click next
  5. Drag and drop each workout in the order you want your athletes to complete them
